  • 10 ounces vegan marshmallows
  • 5 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 10 ounces caramels or caramel bites
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add vegan marshmallows and stir until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract.
  3. Mix in Rice Krispie cereal until well coated and press into the baking dish.
  4. In another saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, butter, and caramels over medium heat until melted and creamy. Pour over the Rice Krispie base and sprinkle with sea salt.
  5. Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan until bubbling; pour over chocolate chips in a bowl and stir until smooth. Drizzle this over the caramel layer and sprinkle more sea salt on top.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
