  • 3 ½ cups cake flour

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup chopped Oreo cookies
  • 1.5 quarts Cookies and Cream ice cream (softened)
  • 2 cups whipped cream (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; then alternate adding these dry ingredients with milk to the butter mixture until combined.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies into the batter.
  5. Divide batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before removing from pans.
  6. Assemble by placing one cake layer on a serving plate, spreading softened ice cream on top, adding the second cake layer, and frosting with whipped cream.
