  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut black olives into small pieces for the eyes and slice red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough on a clean surface, cutting it into 12 strips along the long side.
  4. Roll each strip into a 12-inch rope, tapering one end for a tail and flattening the other for a head.
  5. Wrap each rope around wooden chopsticks or metal straws to form snake shapes.
  6. Brush with olive oil, then sprinkle with poppy and sesame seeds.
  7. Place olive pieces on each head as eyes.
  8. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for 11 to 15 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly before removing chopsticks.
  9. Insert red bell pepper tongues while still warm.
